Let Online Poker Begin!

Well it has been a while since I posted, but I have decided to add online poker to my blog. I will play low limit poker and work my way up. I will start with either 5c/10c or 2c/4c limit to begin with and a few sit and go's worked in.

here is my current totals:
Pokerstars $60.95
Full Tilt $21.08
Ultimatebet $24.09

I will update these totals as well as have video's in future posts. Hang in there and see what happens.

Thanks,

Rod

Live Play Last Night

Well got off work yesterday afternoon and couldn't decide if I wanted to play or not. I've been ill all week with a sinus infection, but decided I would go play. Got there at around 7pm and got signed up on a 3/6 limit table. They started a new table where there were 5 regulars. Never got a hand to speak of the 1st hour other than 7,7 and had a K,A,4 flop. We were in a must move game so players were in and out of there quite frequently. I was just so card dead all night, and my final hand I get Q,Q I raise get 4 callers on a 8,J,7 board, I then led out bet, they all call and next card is a K, I then again bet and get 5 callers with a river 9, and of course one dummy has 10,2, for the straight. So down 1 buy in and really feeling bad I call it a night. Live bankroll is now $1090. Good Luck

Poker and Family

I have been fortunate to have a wife who understands my poker playing. I keep my poker bank roll and regular family money in 2 different accounts, so I will never put monetery harm toward my family. I usually play once or twice a week, and spend every evening (except when playing) at home and all day Sunday with my family. I have a decent full time job, but really want to subsidize my retirement (future plans) with poker. I am totally open to my wife about wins or loses, and she supports me in my poker playing.

Introduction

I am a small stakes limit poker player in Oklahoma which has had Casino Gambling for about 4 years. My games of choice are 3/6 and 4/8 limit (live) and mainly small stakes and sng's online. I am trying to create a bankroll to go play both a $1500 and $2500 tournament at the WSOP in 2010 next June. I started my quest in July of this year, and have amassed $1175 toward my $6500 goal from playing live. My online total is $31.87 (which was started with a $2.14 Bankroll). I am currently on a training site trying to improve my online game. When I reach $2000 on my live bankroll, I plan on moving over to 1/2 no limit. I also plan on playing several live and online tournaments, once I get my bank roll up.
